I really, really love this story. It possibly MAY be my favorite
S.E.Hall book. And Cannon, sweet baby Jesus, he gives Sawyer a run for
his money.

We meet Lizzie and her merry band at the funeral of her mother. It is
truly a sad day for the bunch and thank God for Jarrett and Rhett,
those boys crack me up. Years later and the gang is on the road,
traveling and performing shows all over. They lose one of their
bassists and realize they need a new one. They make a pit stop and
find the perfect candidate for the job. Cannon Blackwell. The group
decides to see what talent he has and brings him aboard.Things heat up along their journey and it is intense. Pretty Instinct is probably my most favorite of Stefani's books to date. Cannon puts Sawyer to shame with his charm, wit, sexiness and dirty, sexy mouth. He takes you ride you never want to get off on ( literally and figuratively ;-) there are some twists and turns and many unexpected surprises! some parts I was shocked and Stef had me!! she had me. You will know when you read. And the ending, it was so perfect. Truly beautiful in S.E.hall fashion and I am bawling my eyes out. Trust me, you will WANT to read this! one of the best books Stefani has done and best and most touching books out there this book pulls on all those heart strings!

Will Lizzie be able to not fall head over heels for Cannon? will she ever forgive her father? you will have to read to find out.

Pretty Instinct is the newest book by S.E. Hall and boy, does she hit a high note! It is the story of Liz, her brother Conner and her two best friends Rhett and Jarrett (who also happen to be scrumptious brothers) as they travel together on their tour bus playing different venues along the way. After Liz kicks out a fifth, obnoxious and utterly useless member, they need to find someone to replace this band member. Lo and behold they happen upon my new boyfriend (and yours as soon as you read this book!), Cannon Blackwell just sitting on a bench. Is he a deranged serial killer? Hitchhiker? Or the perfect man to step on to the tour bus, join the band and take control of Liz’s heart?

Yes, much of Pretty Instinct takes place on board a tour bus with a band – one woman three men and a driver. But that is where whatever you may be thinking a typical book about a band on a bus touring the country playing in bars ends. SE Hall takes this book in such a different and glorious direction. Music does play a large role in the story and is important to both the characters and the setting, but the book centers more around the relationships and the characters’ journeys as they heal their hearts and themselves. You will laugh, cry, swoon – in other words SE Hall will run you through the gamut of emotions and touch you deep inside your heart with this winner!

I highly recommend Pretty Instinct. And for those of you that are concerned about series - while it is the first book in The Finally Found Collection it is a standalone novel )
Elizabeth Carmichael is on the road with her band members. Uncle Bruce, brother Conner, Cami and her best friends The Foster Brother Jarrett/Rhett. When she ends up kicking one off the bus she realizes she may have to cancel a gig. But Liz wouldn't do that to Jarrett and Rhett when this could be there chance at getting discovered or even signed.
During a stop Liz happens to see someone who catches her eye and the group decide to bring Cannon Blackwell on board. With sparks flying will Liz be able to stay in control, but find her self and make mends with her father?

I own one of each of Halls books and I must say She out did her self on this one. Pretty Instinct by far is my favorite. This is a FIVE STAR read be ready to laugh a lot and cry if you are an emotional reader as I am. So grab some tissues and prepare yourself for a fantastic read as you will fall in love with all these characters.
